This is a great example of a number of things:
Cinematic storytelling (I give it three 🤖🤖🤖 out of five!) it very nearly succeeds at being cinematic.
The Hero’s Journey. The path to redemption for the protagonist is told in a fun and interesting way.
Irony-free fun. It doesn’t wink and nudge and tell you how clever the filmmakers and cram the movie with references. It delivers solid home video entertainment.
For these and other reasons I went longer than usual, and placed some restrictions, for the benefit of those who are serious about their artistic development.
