With the recent passing of Steve Albini I looked a little into his background.

I've always made a point of not knowing much about how the sausage is made, preferring the illusion of magic creating albums like In Utero.

I found this article he wrote in the early 90s, which not only shows a keen understanding of recording methods of that era, but he also breaks down the underhanded methods of the recording industry.
