Hi. I’m Jay Corso

But I sign my comic book artwork as RoboPulp. RoboPulp comes from:

Robo = science fiction. My favorite genre because ideas are the driving engine of sci-fi

Pulp = an umbrella word to for the thriller genre from pulp era publications to the present

As far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated by a tale in which the protagonist willingly steps into dangerous situations, and the stakes escalate to nearly unbearable levels.

This passion for suspense has connected with a curiosity for the detail and lore of a place, and how it traces back to a past, to a local history that very few know about.

I have taken my love of crime thrillers, spy thrillers, sci-fi,and the classic detective tale, and combined them with my fascination with mythology and pop culture lore, into stories of suspense.

I also share the media that has shaped my storytelling, and use it to show you how to tap into your creative powers so you can do the same with your passions, gifts, and curiosities.

Such as the video below about a fun action movie not many people know about:

In my posts I explore the creative process through sharing examples of great underseen movies, books and comic books, and sharing my own creative process on my projects.

When I am not exploring lost suspense stories I exercise, listen to podcasts, and sample tiramisu and ramen from different places.
