If you're exploring the best entries in the Predator franchise and looking for smart action movie breakdowns, this film discussion is for you, especially if you’ve only seen the more recent installments like Prey (which, full disclosure, I haven’t watched yet.)
I really liked Predator 2 and I think you did a good job with this article. I know people were disappointed because Arnie wasn't in it but Danny Glover did a fantastic job. I like the Urban Jungle idea and there was some great scenes in that movie like the Predator ripping the guy's head and spine out in the subway. As a young teen I was quite enthralled with the graphic love making scene that showed everything. I need to go back and rewatch it.
Thank you for reading,😁 Daniel. I agree it's a fun and well made movie that gets unwarranted hate just because Arnold was not in it.
According to behind the scenes lore the reason he didn't come back was that the pay wasn't what he wanted.
And I thought the urban setting was a great idea too. It made sense that the predator would go to a place with lots of guns and people for him to hunt.
I liked how the Rasta guy faces the predator like Sonny did in the first one, like he knew what he was, and wanted to rest himself.
The movie has a lot of interesting subtext, and that final scene is a masterclass in cinema.
It would take a grand jury subpoena to get me to watch that flick again [though Predators with Adrien Brody as…Adrien Brody was surprisingly stand-alone genius]. I will die on this hill 1408 style. You are advertising dangerous media, sir!
I like Predators too, though that one gets a lot of flack. I can't understand. I thought it was a good idea, and would have liked to see more movies building in that idea, instead of doing a zag with The Predator.

Well written!
Thank you very much for reading. It's one of my favorite movies:)
I hope you'll enjoy my videos as well. They touch on the same subjects.

I like media with an edge 😎😸
