I’ve been quiet on the AI situation, besides the guest post I wrote for James Presbitero where I stated AI is an amplifier of what you bring to it. If your vision produces AI slop you need to refine your vision, or develop one by studying things you like that bring a desire to create from you.
There’s so much debate whether you’re an artist or not if you‘re using AI that no thought has been given to how deep or shallow the degree of collaboration can be.
In this post I offer an alternative where you use AI-produced images and mix them with images you already own to soothe your AI fears and produce a collaboration that has the feeling of a legit partnership.
